When you import your orders through Wuunder StoreSync (Bol.com, Exact, a simple CSV import or the Wuunder shipping module in your webshop), you can have all imported orders adjusted automatically. This is especially handy if your customers choose their own shipping method at your webshop checkout. With import rules you automate order processing and can still adjust your customer's choice if needed. For example, if you want to insure shipments above a certain value.
Once you've imported your orders into MyWuunder, there are several ways to send documents, parcels or pallets in larger numbers and create lots of shipping labels at once with Bulk booking. Want to use several carriers or transport services? You can set this up exactly the way you want with Shipping rules. This automates your entire shipping process and saves you time.

ALL OPTIONS AT A GLANCE
Go to the import rules page to set up your import rules. Select "New import rules". You can of course combine different rules. You can build import rules with the following variables:
- Description
- Weight (in grams)
- Value (in euros)
- Preferred service
- Recipient's country
- Phone number
- House number
- Day of the week
Please note: import rules do change the information you send through the Wuunder shipping module or the API. If your customer chooses PostNL at checkout, we'll overwrite that choice if you pick a different transport service in your import rules.
HANDY EXAMPLE 1: CREATE MULTI-PARCEL SHIPMENTS AUTOMATICALLY
In the overview below you can see a rule that gives orders made up of several items (containers / packages) several shipping labels. For example, a product called "Hondenhok Bello" (Bello dog kennel) that comes in two packages. With the rule below, every order containing the words "Hondenhok Bello" gets two shipping labels.

HANDY EXAMPLE 2: INSURE VALUABLE SHIPMENTS AUTOMATICALLY
In the overview below you can see an import rule that sends orders worth more than 500 euros as UPS Standard Insurance. Especially handy if your customer chooses UPS at checkout and you don't want them to have to choose between UPS with or without insurance. You'll find an overview of how to write each transport service in Automatically choose the right service and carrier.

HANDY EXAMPLE 3: SAVE COSTS BY SENDING AS A LETTERBOX PARCEL, PARCEL OR PALLET
If a particular item is always sent as a letterbox parcel, parcel or pallet, you can automate this. For example, if a product called "Boek" (book) always goes as a letterbox parcel, simply turn it into a "Document". Or always send a product called "Airco" (air conditioner) as a pallet. You could also do the latter with an import rule based on weight. For example, if every order over 30 kg must be sent as a pallet.

HANDY EXAMPLE 4: BOOK CUSTOMS SHIPMENTS FULLY AUTOMATICALLY
If you regularly send the same shipments to a country outside the EU, it's handy to create an import rule that fills in the required customs details automatically. You can create a rule per type of product, but also a general one if you can always use the same HS code, customs description and country of origin.

IMPORTING ORDERS WITH IMPORT RULES
Once you've set up your import rules, import your orders with the Import button in MyWuunder. During the import, we adjust the orders based on your import rules.
You can then use the dropdown menu to book the shipments automatically according to your shipping rules, or do it manually with Bulk booking. If no shipping rule applies to an order, we'll book your shipment with the default shipping method (preferred service).
While booking, we check for mistakes in the address details, such as a missing town or city. If booking isn't possible, the order will get the status "Booking failed" or "Pending service selection". For example, if the chosen service isn't available with a carrier. Read more about order validation in the article Preparing a shipment.
Save even more time with Scan & print. Simply scan the barcode on your packing slip and the right shipping label is printed straight away. Easy as that!
CORRECTING POSTCODES AUTOMATICALLY
We check whether postcodes are in the right format. Some carriers, for example, don't accept the Belgian postcode B-1234 but require 1234. Wuunder automatically removes the letters for you. Don't find this useful? You can switch it off here.
Turn off automatic postcode correction by sliding the toggle (see below) to the left (it turns grey).

BOOKING ORDERS AUTOMATICALLY
If you import your shipments through an API, you can set the orders to be booked straight away. You then don't need to press a single button to create the shipping labels. Turn on this fully automatic way of booking in the settings menu by sliding the toggle (see below) to the right (it turns green).
